Commonwealth v. J.R., 2023 – NOT GUILTY OF FELONY BURGLARY AND THEFT CHARGES
J.R. was accused by his estranged wife of breaking into her home and assaulting her and her family members, and stealing their phones. After a week-long jury trial, J.R. was acquitted of all charges.
Commonwealth v. L.O., 2022– NOT GUILTY OF TWO COUNTS OF ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE
Attorney Heidorn’s client was charged with a litany of charges, including two counts of attempted homicide, after discharging his firearm into a vehicle containing three individuals who had been threatening and harassing him for weeks. Two of the individuals were struck by the bullets. After a week-long jury trial, Attorney Heidorn successfully established that L.O. had been acting in self-defense and L.O. was acquitted of all charges (except a misdemeanor carry permit charge).
Commonwealth v. K.A., 2020 – NOT GUILTY OF FIRST-DEGREE MURDER
Attorney Heidorn assisted Attorney Christopher Shipman in the defense of a man charged with first-degree murder. After a week-long trial in which his co-defendant testified against him, K.A. was acquitted of first-degree murder and conspiracy charges.
Commonwealth v. D.C., 2021 – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT CHARGES WITHDRAWN PRIOR TO TRIAL
D.C. was charged with aggravated assault after her estranged husband accused her of stabbing him. Due to Attorney Heidorn’s immediate action on the case, she obtained and preserved alibi evidence, specifically footage of D.C. in a local retail store at the time of the alleged assault. Attorney Heidorn successfully obtained D.C.’s release from jail while she worked tirelessly to obtain a dismissal of the charges prior to trial.
